If you need a follow up ultrasound

Mine is for extra amneotic fluid and to check the growth of the baby.  The dr didn't seem concerned and it's not for another 12 weeks - just wanted to see if anyone else needs one for these reasons.

 

I asked if the baby seemed small or large and they said no - just a check.  I also asked if having a little too much amneotic fluid was a concern and what could I do and they said - one day could be more the next less.  Seemed a little odd to me - or ultrasound happy.  This is my 2nd, same dr, new ultrasound place.

    I have to go back for a 2nd anatomy scan... LO didn't want to cooperate! At least she showed us the goods though

    I don't have your problem (sorry!) but I do have to go in for an extra growth scan in 4 weeks.  I hate it when they tell you to come in for an extra anything but then say everything is fine.  I asked if our little boy looked small or something and they said he was actually measuring ahead (I was 20 weeks 4 days at the ultrasound and they measured him at about 21 weeks 1 day) but they want an extra growth scan anyway.  

    I guess unless you have to pay for it just be happy to see your LO again, that is what I am doing.

    I will have a 2nd scan. They couldn't see her face and she had an enlarged left kidney.

    I go back in 2 weeks for placenta previa.  I'm hoping it moved its way up!

    This. I also measured a few days behind but I don think that was reason for concern. Just placenta previa. My hubby can't wait!! He wants some nookie.

    I go back in 3 more weeks for a "growth ultrasound."

    They really just want to look at the spine again - growth was on track at my big u/s.

    I have another scan at 34 weeks for the same reason though I don't knwo the gender.  They said it is absoultely nothing to worry about and totally common...I'm just excited to see LO again without having to pay for it:-) I'm glad to see you had this issue in a girl, bc I have been told is is way common in boys and we did not find out hte gender:-)

    I'm having another u/s at my next visit.  They said everything looked fine but they couldn't get all the pics of the heart they wanted.  Its cool to know we'll get more pics but you still wonder a little...

    I'm also going back in a couple weeks. Everything was fine, but baby was laying on its back and they couldn't get the view of the spine (from the top) that they wanted.
