Here is how paranoid I am

Today my husband stained doors and trim because we are doing a renovation or 20 to the house.

It was kind of muggy and dreary so he stained them in the open garages.

The smell is strong and it's drizzling so we can't put the wood outside.. so we have to leave the garage doors open.

Our house has an entrance door in the garage that has no lock on it. We have a stack of chairs in front of the door even though we live on a 8 house cul de sac and every neighbor on our street is a friend with kids.

I'm still not going to be able to sleep good tonight

I guess it's not a planned community then? With 0 crime rate?

You would not have survived my parents house growing up. They never locked the doors when home or away. It wasn't till one of my brothers friends threw a party at the house while we were at the beach that they started locking the doors while we were out of town.

we never locked the doors growing up or the cars for that matter.. but now with a kid? I'm paranoid android
