does anyone else's DC have freakishly large feet?

DS just grew out of a pair of 5s... MIL called today, because i told her he needed new shoes for his bday, and she said she was looking at some skechers for him, but the chart said size 4 for 12 months and 6s looked enormous, so she was going to buy a 5.

i had to talk her into a 6 for almost 10 minutes to keep her from buying the 4.

tell me my kid is not a freak. FWIW, i have worn a size 10 since 6th grade.

Joseph just got new sneakers and boots. They are 8s. He was in 5s at Memorial Day.

And FWIW, I wear a ladies 12. Matthew wears a mens 13.5. I think Joseph's going to pass us both by 6th grade.

oh good! someone else with skis for feet! seriously, he couldn't fit into the 0-3 or 3-6 months shoes when he was a newborn (people gave them to us as gifts, and i had to try them on him). he was tiny everywhere else but his feet. i don't know why MIL didn't believe me.

My DS has freakishly large and wide feet. I can't find any shoes to fit him except Stride Rite wide. Right now he is in a 5.5 wide.

DD is in a 5.5 wide. But today I got her a pair of cheapo shoes in BRU and they were a 6.

ShanJosh- Nike makes wide shoes for LO's. I got DD a pair last week. Just a little FYI.

DS wears a size 6 too. I have teeny feet though but DH has big feet.

i wear a 10.5-11w

my dad wears a sz 16 but my mom wears a sz 6.5-7

I think DS (13 mos.) is about a six. He generally doesn't wear shoes, so that means he gets to wear a pair maybe once before he's outgrown them. We definitely have pairs that he's never worn before he outgrew them.

DS was a 4.5 at about 10.5 months, then by 13 months, his foot measured a 6. Now he is 15 months, we have him in a size 7 shoe which seems to fit fine, but I need to get his foot sized to gauge when we need to go up again. I've been buying a full size larger than he measures. We have one pair of 8's in the closet already that MIL bought, but he will need another pair as those are light up shoes and I think they are so HEAVY!!
