Shipping on Cribs at Target

I found the crib I want at Target, but it's only available online... and it is not one of the free shipping items... shipping is 90 dollars!!! Just wondering if anyone knows if they ever do free shipping? I also found the same crib at Walmart. It's about 50 dollars more there, but you can have it shipped to your nearest store for free. Do you know if Target does this? I want to get it from Target because I've got some Target gift cards I'd like to use towards it! Thanks!

    target shipping is horrible, the crib i wanted they wanted 120 in shipping, so I waited till walmart had it in stock (a long 6 month wait) and it was 50 cheaper at walmart and had it shipped to the store.

    Its not totally free. I notices last night that you have to pay like $29 to be a member of the ship to store program!!! Sneaky boogers. But if your going to order anything big from them OR more then one thing it is still more then worth it!

    Unfortuantely, target and target.com are run seperately, so I don't think you can ship to the store for free.  The things that are on sale online are not necessarily on sale in the store and they won't match the price.  We ran into this when we ordered our kitchen table.  We were looking at different chairs to go with it, but they charged shipping (and a lot of it!).  We ended up with different chairs

    When i have added things to my cart and done the shipping it says that for me also. But i clicked on site to store details last night and thats when it showed paying the amount to be a member!

    ok i went back and looked and it IS FREE!!! The $29 fee is to join site to store Express!!! Sorry about that

    Yes, that is what I'm seeing too. I got all the way to check out, only thing it's adding is like $13 tax.   $29 is not too bad on a big item but FREE is even better :).

    i thought their free shipping on orders over $50 ends at midnight? I bought my crib online yesterday with free shipping. You might have just missed the sale???

    I did try yesterday, but this item still had a shipping charge... in small print the sale says select items over 50... boo hoo!

    You could try ordering the crib from Walmart have it shipped to your local Walmart. Then pay for it when it gets there. I would print off the picture & price of the crib from Target & see if they would adjust the price for you? Our Walmart is really great about price matching!

    Beware of shipping anything big from Target.  I ordered a desk from them, it never made it, when I finally called someone told me it had been damaged in transit and they would ship me a new one.  OK, fine.  Well guess what, a few weeks later, nothing, so I call again. THAT one was also damaged in transit.  I said, forget you guys, give me my money back, and I bought it on eBay and it got to me in perfect condition.  They just don't seem to care about shipping carefully.
