My babies haven't pooped in a day and a half

Should I be concerned?  My little guy is gassy but he usually is.  This isn't like them though to not poop at least once a day.  They usually do 2-4 times a day.

    Are the BF? ?BF babies can go days without pooping and it is totally normal I know my dd can go for days. Just be prepared for 2 days worth of poop in one diaper ; )

    My sister's Pedi suggested some booty rubbing.  Yep, take a thermometer, Q-tip, whatever you have and lightly rub the hole.  It is supposed to stimulate the muscles and get things moving.  Happy pooping!

    They get 1/2 BM and 1/2 formula because I don't make enough.  Thanks for the info!  I'm not looking forward to the next poop explosion :)

    Jus twatch it. I have hear that BF babies don't poop as much either.  My guys have the opposite probelem they go like 3 times a day!

    Ditto pp about manual stimulation. Also bicycle legs or putting their knees to the chest for slight pressure and rubbing the back. Given they are partly FF I would call the dr on day 3 but I bet you have massive blow outs before they go down tonight.

    You can also try a warm bath. I hope they poop for you soon!

    I've heard they can go as long as 5 days without poopin'. With that said, G only goes every other to every 3 days. He was regular until about 2-3mo of age and then decided to hold it in. To each their own though :)

    we went days without a BM - but we predominately BFed....It is normal...the longest we went was 5 days I think.

    I think germanwifetobe or another BFer said they went 12 days or something...or that was a record somewhere...

    like I said we still don't have a BM everyday and it was like that from the start.  It is his normal...

    thermometer didn't really work for us or bicycle legs, but they are worth a shot.
