s/o 30 day shred post

Who here has actually completed 30 days of the 30DS?  I am on day 15 and agree that Level 2 is kicking my butt.  I want abs like Anita.  She's had 3 kids!  That's crazy.  A

nyway - I am seeing some results (not surprising seeing as I had been sedentary since the day I found out I was pregnant, 2 years ago!), but am wondering how everyone else did after the full 30 days.  I haven't really lost weight, maybe a few pounds, but things are fitting much better which is all that really matters.  Success stories?  Thoughts?  And what did you do once your 30 days were done?

Re: s/o 30 day shred post

  • I did. It was hard. It seemed to get a little repetitive in the middle, but kept going and worked through it. I lost no weight =(. But I lost inches and gained muscle. I saw a big difference in my arms more than anything. I didn't really see a big difference in my abs, but I could feel it. I felt really good afterwards, but it was nice to have a break after doing it for 30 days staright. I started running and walking on a regular basis. And am thinking about doing another go around of the 30 day shred....we'll see =) Good luck!

  • I finsihed the full 30 days and I was happy with my results. I didn't look like the girls on the dvd of course, but I could tell that if I kept going I would get my body back in no time! I even saw the beginning of ab definition and my arms and shoulders looked great! Well, unfortunately life got hectic and I didn't keep working out. I got through about half of the 2nd 30 days and hadn't done it since...but I do plan to start it back up again once the 1st birthday craziness is over next week. My plan is that I will slowly increase the weights after each 30 day cycle. I started out with little 3 lb weights originally and moved up to 8 lb weights for the 2nd cycle. I loved the shred even though it kicked my arse, but it really worked. I can't say that for the millions of other exercise plans I have tried. Now if I can just control my eating habits I would have my old body back before I know it! Oh, and didn't have a drastic weight loss either, like you, I noticed my clothes fitting much better and even stopped wearing my spanx :)
  • I've heard of a lot of people that have lost inches but not lbs.  I'm planning on doing the shred in oct.
