Hi Ladies! I am originally from the Cleveland area (Rocky River to be exact) and now live in CT. DH and I are expecting our first baby in February. All of my friends/family are still in the Cleveland area and my mom wants to throw me a baby shower there in early November. She asked me if I had any ideas where I would want it. I haven't lived in Cleveland in almost 9 years, so I have no ideas!! Do you guys have any thoughts? The shower will be around 40 people and we would prefer downtown/westside.

Re: Shower Ideas
I grew up in Bay Village but now live on the Eastside. My family though all still live west so I am over there all the time.
Pier W in Lakewood is really really nice and is right on the lake...it might be a little pricey but it depends on what you're looking to spend.
There are a bunch of nice restaurants at Crocker Park in Westlake, I'm not sure which ones have private rooms though. Brio is really nice and I'm pretty sure they have a private room.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Saucy Bistro in Westlake. They have a lovely private room that can definitely accommodate 40 people...not sure if you're thinking meals for everyone or more finger foods....
And then downtown there is The Metropolitan (has several different rooms), and The Chophouse I know has a private room and I think they both offer valet parking. They are both on W 6th and St. Clair.
Hope this helps! I think Pier W is a very popular spot for showers.
