I try not to read the NY Post very often. I prefer the following that one of my friends posted as her FB status today:

Don't you hate realizing that people you like or love or at least respect can be so diametrically opposed to everything you believe?

Yes. It is so hard for me to wrap my head around it. I am still 'friends' with a lot of people from my old church. I need to get rid of all of them. There is a good reason that I left that church, and this is just one example, I suppose. I thought these people were different, though. I guess not.
