But I'm 36 weeks and consider myself 8 months because I only have 1 left.

But I guess technically you're pregnant about 10 months so I'd be 9 right now.

It's really confusing. I just go with telling people I'm 8 months

Every time I think I have it down, I see a different site! But you are starting your 8th month. It's confusing because you aren't technically 8 months pregnant, you are starting your 8th month. Which means you've only been pregnant for 7 months. Ugh! Makes my pregnant brain hurt sometimes!

Good god, you're not pregnant for 10 months people.

What's your EDD? Subtract one month from that. That's 8 months.

For example: My EDD was 9/23

I was 8 months on 8/23.

Done.

You are pregnant for 40 weeks. Most people think of a month having 4 weeks. Therefore, that would make ten months.

"technically" a month is longer than 4 weeks. So pregnancy is 9 months/40 weeks. I plan to start saying I"m 8 months next week when I'll be 35 weeks - 5 weeks to go. close enough...

You would be entering your 9th month on 8/23. You wouldn't be a full 9 months until your due date.
