2nd Trimester

OMG, friend's 2 mo old fractured his skull.

Friends of mine have this cosco stroller.  She put the car seat in, and it never clipped right I guess.  The car seat fell out and her DS landed on his head.  They rushed him to one hosp. and then they were rushed to a better children's hospital.

Thankfully, it wasn't bad enough to warrent surgery, but he did fracture his skull and had a lot of bleeding.  He had a bunch of cat scans and full body scans.  The drs. are going to let it heal on it's own, but that'll take about 4 months.

I feel so bad what a horrible thing to have to experience!

  • Oh wow! That's terrible :(
    Poor baby & poor mommy.
  • wow, that's so sad!  I'm sure she feels just awful.  I hope he has a complete and speedy recovery

as a side note;  a few months ago on the 12-24 board there was a kid who was in a high chair at a restaurant and wasn't strapped in.  Somehow it tipped over and he got hurt pretty bad.  Always strap your kids in and double check

  • Oh my gosh that is so scary. Was it because of a faulty stroller or just an accident?
