I have GERD so I am used to getting this, pregnant or not. Try to stick to foods that are not acidic, you can look up low residue diet... following some of that may help a bit.
Me too and it got in my nose too...BLECH. I also just got back from the ENT doctor who surmised that my horrendous ear pain at night is related to reflux. Oh the joys!
I had never experienced this until this week. I now have enormous sympathy for those who deal with this on a daily (non-pregnant) basis. I slept sitting up last night and it was the most uncomfortable night of sleep ever.
I have found that eating milk/cheese products helps a little with the prevention. I've been putting up with GERD since I was 15, so I hear this ladies. Pregnancy definitely makes it worse, though.
Re: Seriously, I'm ready to rip my own esophagus out.

I feel your pain!
The weird thing is, I had GERD pre-preg, but this is a totally different ball game. It's like, perma-mouth-vomit.
Blech. ::chugs water to try to force it down::
Double Blech.
Can I hang out with yours? I'd rather head down the mexico, and let my esophagus stay here to deal with all the work I have to finish.
