How much does your Lo move?

Mine still not moving a lot and I know kick counts don't start to 28 weeks but, it's starting to worry me.  I was just wondering how normal it is to not have much movement yet.  Every time i have US he's going nuts moving around but, i never seem to feel it.

Re: How much does your Lo move?

  • I'm sure everyone is different, and it probably depends on where in your uterus your baby is. I feel my LO everyday, but not constantly. Usually when I eat, or right before bed.

  • I feel him every day, at least a few kicks...but it's not that predictable or regular. I usually feel him in the morning when I Nest/Bump and at night when I'm sitting on the couch, but sometimes he switches things up on me.

I have noticed that there are movements I can't really feel if I'm just sitting around, but if I sit with an arm across my belly, I feel more.

  • I feel the lil chile pepper 3 or 4 times a day for about 5-15 min intervals. I really feel movement when I am doing my physical therapy for my back. What is the purpose of kick counting? Please fill me in...
  • OMG mine moves all the time, she especially goes nutty if I sit too long.
  • I usually feel my LO when I am calm and getting ready for bed. Otherwise, you know those circus peanuts (orange candy), she likes it when I eat those!

When you get further along in the pregnancy, you're supposed to keep track of movements.
  • I've been worried about this before, too but my doctor always assures me that everything is fine.  As you can see from my ticker, I'm almost 26 weeks and I feel some movement at least once a day but nothing that makes me sit back and go "that was baby"!
  • if i am super active all day, and then sit and rest, i will feel her right away, and every time i eat, (for the most part) and as soon as i lay down for bed. if i am less active, sitting at a desk all day, sitting around, it is much less movement. i think it depends on your activity level and eating patterns, although this is all brand new to me!!Wink
  • When I'm in the car (he kicks the seatbelt), at my desk (he kicks my waistband - and has been for the past 10 minutes now!) and when I settle down at night and am reclined or laying on my back.  Every once in a while I'll feel him at other times but, these have been the most consistent for the past two weeks.  I've only felt him once or twice when I'm standing or moving around.

  • Mine is predictable and pretty regular...always the same times roughly and pretty much every hour or 2 depending on the time of day.  That just started being really regular in the last week though.

  • She's movin and groovin today quite a bit. Usually she's more relaxed. I often don't feel the movement inside, but I can feel it if my hand is on my tummy.
