I am smiling because we have our first NICU reunion tomorrow!
I am also smiling because I got new makeup and I'm feeling like I actually look good for a change! giddy up!
NBR: Dinner and drinks with mhop and mek tonight!
Sort of NBR: playtime with mhop and lstaylor and the babes tomorrow!
BR: Marino is walking everywhere now, he says a new word "duck" and he is singing his first song "row row row your boat." AND he finally got his 3rd tooth (4 months since the last one). This month has been so amazing!
Because I love this board!
Because my son isn't screaming when he eats!
Because we're spending time with friends tonight and leaving LO w/his nanny.
Because it's FOOTBALL season! WOOooooot!
My week has basically sucked, but.....
BR: ?Keira said "All Done!" ?clear as day when she finished eating this morning. ?She can now say, "No." ?and "All done".?
NBR: ?I FINALLY hung up some of the beautiful photos I've been getting of my girls. ?My sister just went pro and I am a photographing nut so between the two of us, I have TONS of pics! ?I bought a gallery template from Michaels that you hang on your wall to help you hang frames in a gallery type format and all the frames were 40% off! ?My hallway looks FANTASTIC!! ?(If I do say so myself )
BR: At Lukes 4 mo appointment the Dr said that he is "almost" at 4 months development! and DH and I have decided to start trying for #2 after Christmas.
NBR: It has been beautiful weather here this week and I have been able to spend a lot of time outside!
nbr - things are finally starting to move on building our new house (haven't broke ground yet) and tomorrow is my family's annual chowder party - though we can't take Carter since he hasn't had his 2 month shots yet.
br - this is so sad that this is why i'm smiling...but carter finally pooped today - it's been 3-4 days and the doc wants one a day at least!
BR: I have made it to 30 weeks not having to go on bedrest! Compared to 26 weeks with DS! DS expanded his vocabulary with saying ELMO!
NBR: Football season is here.. this means my Mom will make her football treats every Sunday! I am also starting to realize that being a SAHM is going to be the best for my family ( I got laid off a few weeks ago).
We also have our first NICU reunion on Sunday and are really looking forward to it. On baby news, Sophie has started shaking her head "no". Hey, it may not be a positive, but at least its something new! HAHA.
I am smiling because I made it through my second week back at work and Brandon made it through his second week at the babysitters.
I am also smiling because our NICU walk is on Sunday and we are doing it with Brandon this year. Last year Brandon came home from the NICU 6 days after the walk so he was not able to do it with us.
I am also smiling because Brandon says Mom now when he sees me.
Because DD's appointments this week went very well, even though she had to have two heelsticks (lots of tears!).
And because I believe I started my first post-delivery AF today, which means no worries about being KU (DH and I didn't exactly follow the instructions to use another form of BC for the first week of taking the mini-pill). Our NICU days weren't that long ago - I'm nowhere near ready to start thinking about another LO!
AND one of my sisters will be getting engaged soon and I know when!
I am smiling because I have a son!
I am smiling because he might be able to be released today.
I am smiling because my DH did skin to skin last night for the first time and it was amazing to watch.
I am smiling because I have support here!
