Ugh! That's awful!  I just signed on to see if you'd posted anything about the appt.  Bummer.

Stupid bills.  We had so many problems with ours.  Luckily when I"d call to complain or say something was wrong with the bill, they didn't argue much!

Ugh, I am so annoyed. I hadn't heard anything from Dr. E.'s office confirming DD's appt tomorrow so I called this morning. After waiting on  hold for 10+ minutes I finally got a live person who told me that her appointment was 'cancelled' and rescheduled for October after I go back to work, fabulous! I asked if anyone would have called me but the person answering the phones dodged that question. Grr. Luckily they were able to squeeze me us in for 2 weeks from now on the day before I go back to work. I'm just annoyed in general with St. V's right now. I got a call the other day from a collections agency for a bill that I never got from the MFM doctors! Upon further investigation they had our zip wrong in the physician billing system so the bill was returned and instead of investigating or cross referencing with my hospital account they turned it over to a debt collector. Man did that poor gal get a piece of my mind! :)

OK, vent over.

  • I know, but I guess now Alex has t more weeks to 'practice' and be a rockstar for the appt!

How is the new thickening stuff working for your LO?

  • This is true!! :-) I'm sure she'll do great!

He's doing great - no more screaming, no more choking. YAY!  I'm disappointed because I never anticipating a regression in feeding ability as he got older (he never had these issues), but, it's probably temporary related to teething.

The only problem now is playing with the nipple flow.  The lady who ran the swallow study (speech therapist) tried the level 3 nipple and said he did well - but only watched him eat for less than 1 ounce.  It's taking him an hour to eat and he's falling asleep before he finishes!!

Ryan is picking up some Y-cut nipples for me on the way home from work (I hope the Target by us has some), so I think that will help. If nothing else he has OT on Wednesdays, and his therapist also has experience in feeding issues, and said she can help us figure it out.

    Thanks for asking!

  • So is Alex 3 months actual right - how many adjusted, like 1 month?  How is she doing?
