It's the only way DD will stay sleep during the day. At night, she sleeps great, but i think the darkness soothes her. During the day, she's sleeps 15 minutes at the most, before she's up again.
I put her on her belly today for the 1st time, and she's out like a light.
Re: Do you EVER lay LO on belly to sleep?
I was just going to post about this!
LO doesn't like to nap during the day unless I am wearing him or we are napping together. I put him on his tummy an hour ago and he is still snoozing.... which he barely ever does when napping. I am in the room with him though and keep checking on him to make sure he is okay.
I have to admit though its nice to have some me time
I think the medical community has done a pretty good job at scaring parents out of putting babies on their bellies to sleep. ?When I was a child my mom said they all scared parents into putting babies ON their bellies to sleep so they wouldn't choke in their sleep if on their backs. ?Go figure.
That being said, I put my baby on her belly all the time, she sleeps like a log on her belly and I firmly believe it's how she was able to sleep through the night (wakes up around 4/5 am to feed and goes back to sleep) before she was even 2 months old. Don't get me wrong, we watched her like a hawk in the beginning, but she had such good neck control it was never really an issue for us.
