Happiest Baby on the Block

Have you ever heard of this? A client recommended this to my husband https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddRkI5wVIqQ and said it saved her life when her baby was born. It looks like it works!

  • I got the book, haven't read it yet though

  • I read the book and a friend recommended to watch the video. She was sad she watched it 4 weeks too late! Thanks for sharing the link!!

  • Yes I used this book and video for my 1st baby and it was a life saver. But I recommend just the video because all you really need to use is the swaddling, rocking and shishing from it and you need to visually see how it's done. My husband would do it everynight to our daughter when she was born and she would fall asleep.

  • Yes, I took the class which was offered through my hospital when I was pg with my first.  The techniques were helpful, however, the results were no where near the same.  We used the CD, that played white music, often when my son was young.

  • THe book is interesting for the background and WHY it works, but you really only need the video. My son was never that fussy, but when he was, this method worked AMAZING.
  • I read the book when DS was a newborn. He was a fairly good baby, so I don't feel like I used it too much. But the information was definitely helpful on his 'bad' days.

  • I feel like I'm missing something. I skimmed the book for a while at Barnes and Noble and it all seemed pretty common sense to me. I keep hearing that it is the best book for mothers, but I just don't think it shares anything new or profound.
