So my sister told me I HAVE to get a glider that reclines because she so wishes hers did. The problem is I have only found 2 that I like that recline and the one I can afford is VERY hard and uncomfortable, the other one is way too much money. Do you wish yours reclined? Do you think it's really going to matter? Her baby won't sleep in the crib much so I know she's often holding her all night so I can see why she'd wish hers reclined, but I don't plan to be sitting in mine all night. I don't really think reclining is going to be a big deal, but she swears I'll wish it did - is this just something personal, or does anyone else wish they had one that reclined???? Thanks ladies
Re: Glider advice needed from you mamas!
I bought a rocker/recliner instead of a glider (on sale at Slumberland for $239) and I honestly don't use the reclining option all that often.
I love the chair, and am glad that I bought it because it is super comfy, and I spend soooo much time in it. Plus, I will continue to use the piece of furniture after I am done using it as a rocker for baby.
i LOVE my glider - but it was very pricey. dutailier matrix...

it does recline and i found that helpful so i could rest and even nap in the glider at times.

we have a best chairs glider - storytime series - with the matching gliding ottoman. this allows you to be able to put your feet up but continue to rock. I definitely slept in our glider this way.
Ours reclines and I do use that feature fairly often. We ponied up the money to buy the $500 glider from BRU, and I am very glad we did. Both DH and I have dozed off in the glider more than once.

All of this exactly.. I will also say that while I do often wake up with my head slumped over and a sore neck from falling asleep in the glider.. I don't know that i would want one that reclined.. First of all, the recliners with the footrests that pop up scare me.. I am always afraid that a cat or a baby is going to get stuck underneath them.. Second of all.. Its hard to recline and nurse (or bottle feed for that matter)..
