The pic is blocked for me, so I can't see your little one, but I know what you mean.
I have a coworker who is a complete ass. His wife was put on bedrest several weeks before her due date, and he used to come into work and b*tch endlessly about how the doctors stupidly put her on bedrest, causing her to use up her maternity leave and now here it was X weeks later and she hadn't even had the baby yet.
Idiot, her not having the baby early is the whole POINT. I wanted to get all the moms of preemies I knew together to beat his ass.
I know I just posted saying that this is something we need to remember and we do, but I want to add to that...
I think we all deserve the right to have crappy days and complain and wish that we could just be holding our babies. I think it just comes with the territory.
I have no pictures, since I ended up completely out for the delivery. But I CAN tell you what it feels like to see your baby's heart rate, which had always been around 140 bpm or so, hit and stay at 34 bpm due to the induction going WAY wrong at 39 weeks.

i don't think that anyone is asking for a premature baby.
I agree. My friend had her baby at 27 weeks and it was horrible. He is home healthy now, but I wouldn't wish her situation on my worst enemy. Still, that doesn't make me feel any better.
Now if someone posted they had started trying to self induce labor at 35 weeks over on the preemie board that would be different.
edit: I am thankful to be 36 weeks and if I end up going to 41 weeks I will still be thankful, but I think we all have the right to complain a little bit.

Wouldn't this be more aptly titled: "Why early eviction notices bother me"?
Probably, but Jen's baby was basically a week shy of 37 weeks. For all those that want them out at 37 - there's a reason pregnancy is generally 40 weeks.
yes, by all means complain. But DO NOT write a cutesy eviction notice at 28 weeks. Or even at 35 weeks. It's just not cute. And not funny.
some of us don't have the luxury of "just being done" with pregnancy. Some of us would give our left arm to still have our baby inside of us.
(um ... not me, since he's 6 months old now. I'm thinking of ladies who lost their babies and babies who were RECENTLY born -- on this very board! -- at 32 weeks)

Some people just don't get it. I was at the hospital for a test, and a pregnant lady in the elevator actually said to me, I wish my baby would come early... those preemies are so tiny and adorable!

oh man, :::: grabbing popcorn ::::
someones maternity panties are going to completely unhinge.

Of course everyone has the right to complain, but I don't think there's anything wrong with:
A) being sensitive to the situations of others, and
That is all.
You can understand why some mothers might be bothered when they see "eviction" notices before you are term.
*applause*
