Low Beta 1st & 2nd Draw? HELP...

Hi,
Was wondering if any of you had low beta's once you found out you were pregnant?
I found out that my progesterone was 18.9 2 weeks before IUI (is this low)?
I go in for IUI 8/24....I go back 9/7 for b/w so see if I got BFP...I got my BFP but hcg 12 & progesterone 8....(low numbers) now should have my doctor told me about the low progesterone from the 2 weeks prior at 18.9??
I went for second b/w 9/10 and my hcg dropped a half point to 11.5 but progesterone stayed? The doctor called me to tell me it does not look good but wait and see until monday and get more blood work......
Now what should I do? I feel great no symtoms of miscarry....nothing!

2nd IUI 10/24/09 BFP!! 11/6/09 1st Beta 8, 2nd Beta 28 3rd beta 51, 4TH Beta 327! & 5th Beta 800 , 6th Beta 338 :(on Endometrin vaginal inserts 200 mg twice a day, 2nd M/C 11/25/09 Starting taking BA, 5mg Folic acid, b12 & b9 along with prenatal. Hopefully this will help!
M/C 11/25/09 AF SHOWED 26 DAYS AFTER MC, 3RD IUI SCHEDULED FOR 1/4/10

4th IUI on 2/2/10 in the 2WW Please let this be it. Keeping fingers crossed.
2/16/10 = BFP! 1st Beta 146, 2nd Beta 510, 3rd Beta 1808 & Pro 35, 4th Beta 12,000 & Pro 28, 3/2/10 1st u/s poss 2 sacs 1 hb @ 117!!! yay! Praying this is our sticky baby! We love you Baby!

I'm so sorry to say, but I've never heard a story of HCG dropping that has a happy ending. I'm so sorry. :::Hugs::::
Try to relax. There really isn't anything to do. If you start cramping call your doctor or go to the ER, they can give you pain meds.
I'm a little confused. Are you saying that your Progestrone levels where 18.9 before you did IUI? Levels over 15 would indicate that you already ovulated so i'm confused as to why they did IUI 2 weeks after it seems like you ovulated already.
HCg and Prog really don't tell you anything by the basic numbers it's the doubling that counts. Dropping HCG are not usually a good sign of a healthy pg but, don't give up yet maybe there was a lab error. See what Monday Brings. Good Luck!!
Well thats the thing, I feel great and my boobs are getting bigger & very sore. I dont have bleeding or cramps....
Its confusing and I read on the net that some women will have very low hcg and mine dropped a half point which is not much, I'm afraid that the doc will want to give me something or d&c which I will not do....
I want my body to release whatever is going on....just in case..

REPLY: I had first IUI ON 8/24, I went in 8/31 for b/w my progestrone came back 18.9 which indicated I ovulated...I go back 9/7 for b/w...I got BFP! but levels low hch 12 & pro 8....I went back 9/10 for b/w and hcg 11.5 & progestrone 8....the doc thinks its miscarry...
this is confusing to me?? If I got pregnant right after iui or a few days later then doesnt it take implantation 7-14 to happen? what if it happened late for me so then I woud really only be a week pregnant right??
I see now. You could have implanted late. I would see what Monday blood work says. I noticed your blood draws where only about 48 hours apart. Most HCG don't start doubling till 72 hours. My Re won't even do Blood work unless it was at least 72 in between draws. I hopeyou see a nice jump on Monday. Good Luck!!
Are you still taking the endometrium? I took it too and it worked great for me.

Yes I'm still taking the endometrin 100mg twice daily...
So if I implanted late then should my numbers be fine? even thou my hcg dropped a half point..?
Should my doctor have put me on something sooner since my pro was 18.9 right after ovulation, isnt that low numbers to carry a baby?
