I have noticed that a lot of the maternity tops are extremely low cut. I am not sure why clothing companies feel that a pregnant woman wants to show off her breasts, but oh well!
Anyway, I know a lot of people have been buying maternity or regular tanks to go under their shirts. Here is a piece of advice I got from a friend who just had a baby.
She told me that she started wearing sphaghetti strap sports bras under her tops. She would wear her regular bra, a sports bra about 1-2 sizes too big and then the shirt. She said the sports bra came up high enough to cover the booby cleavage, but it didn't make her any warmed by covering the whole belly. Also, she said they were great for after baby was born and her breasts needed a little extra breathing room due to engorgement and just general milk growth.
I went out and bought some sports bras, and they are awesome! Hope this helps some of yall! Have a good weekend!
Re: Some advice for maternity tops
That is a really good idea. Sometimes it annoys me to wear so many layers (especially if they stick together). I'll keep that in mind.
