  I was actually wondering about this too. Our NICU also never mentioned such a thing, but I've heard lots about here.

  our NICU only does the follow-up if LO is born before 33w. of course, DS was born at 8pm at 32w6d.

  we had to take her back in within 2 days to get a weight....that went fine so we go back in a month or so to recheck. we do have to go back in 2 weeks for another ROP exam.
  

  i think if there were growth problems they'd have us back more often.
