C-section moms

Hi,

When you started taking walks -did you get a stich in our side.As if you were running.Even though you were walking slowly?

Also did you feel a lot better after 6 weeks.I am 2 week pp and am still feeling blah and I am not sure I buy into the fact that by 6 weeks I will feel better.

TIA

Re: C-section moms

  • I did the other night but most of the time I don't. I attributed it to my laziness though. I haven't been getting out and moving as much in the last month or two as I should be.

  • At 2 weeks PP I got a pulling sensation on my left side when I was doing too much.

I started to feel better around 4 weeks PP.  I still have numbness & my tummy is really floppy but other then that I feel like myself again.

  • I still get pains, but not bad at all! Every week gets better, just don't do too much. A little walking is good though, I just slowly walked more and more every day. And you will be amazed at what a difference a month makes!
  • I would get a pulling pain on my lower right side after a few weeks but that's it. I actually ended up having my gallbladder taken out and 4 incisions for that when LO was 3wks old...so I had both things to recover from. But by the time LO was 5wks, I was perfectly fine. No problems at all. I have heard of people that just can't get up and around that well for at least 6wks, but I was fine.
