I live in Louisiana, so all of the cute bear/monkey/lion costumes that are so popular are out of the question. She'd be melting. It's hardly ever cool here much less cold enough to justify a heavy costume. So, what are your LOs wearing if you live in a warmer climate? I'm drawing a blank here.

I made DD a Tinkerbell costume last year. All I did was iron a Tinkerbell patch onto a white t-shirt, made a tutu, and I found fairy wings at Party City. It was super easy! I can't decide what I want her to be this year... I'm thinking I might do a homemade ladybug or bumblebee.
We are in FL and have the same issue. DD will be a ladybug and here is her costume:

Basically anything that is a dress should work ok.
