Re: Stage 1 and 2 food ?

  • we spent 2 months on stage 1... now we are introducing stage 2.  they have mixed flavors and some are thicker.  allie was also eating 2 of the stage 1... so i thought the bigger container might be good.

  • In my experience they are pretty much the same, except stage 2 seems to be more for the same price.  Some stage 3 foods are chunky but others are just as pureed as 1 & 2 (banans, peaches, pears, etc.).  I feel like I should have been buying those all along!

  • I have no idea except there is more variety in stage 2.. but i have no idea what the difference between say Stage 1 Peas and Stage 2 peas are.. Stage 2 are bigger AND cheaper.. so I'd say go for it..

We're still working our way through the stage 1s.

  • Stage 2 is a little thicker but not by much.  They also come in combinations.  Jacob moved through the stage 1 foods pretty quickly.  He's been eating stage 2 for quite a while now.  If he had more than 1 tooth, we would probably be into stage 3 by now.
  • I think stage 2 is a tad thicker and has more combined flavors.
