Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated warning sad

I know a lot of you on here couldn't care less about friends we have off the nest but....

A really great friends and old coworker of mine, who was pregnant, is extremely sick. She caught a cold from another coworker and it turned into double pneumonia. She got an upper respritory infection and had been on a ventilator all weekend. Sometime during the weekend she became incoherent and delirious. EMS came and she flat lined in the ambulance. They did an emergency csection and is in ICU. They have her sedated so she doesn't wake up and go crazy ripping out tubes. (she would do something like that) She is stable right now, but her son is doing better than she is. She doesn't even know she had her son yet...so sad.

Prayers for her....her new baby boy and family will be very appreciated. I will update as soon as I hear good news. thanks.

oh..I really hope she pulls through. I think being sedated is the best thing for her as her body can rest to fight off the illness.

oh del that is so scary. i will say a prayer for them. thank goodness the baby is doing ok. i know that as a mommy that would be all of our priority. hopefully she'll make a full recovery and be there for that little guy.

My heart goes out to her and her family. I will say an extra prayer or two for them for sure. I'm glad they were able to bring her back from flatlining in the ambulance and that her little boy is doing ok. I hope she gets well soon so she can meet her baby boy.

I'll keep her in my thoughts. Just wanted to also say that my mom was hospitalized for pneumonia when she was in her third tri with my little brother, and it all turned out ok. (IDK if a happy ending story might help)
