  I like it. I've seen that name alot on old early 1900's census (1900,1910,1920).

  I have seen a few Ellas and Stellas, but Della is really cute too and totally overlooked.

  I like it. It's definitely an older name, but it hasn't really come back yet, which I think is nice.

  i used to wait tables with a Della.  She was so so so 80s with the worst hair cut.

  haha.  isn't it so funny how you associate a name with someone you know from your past?  ridiculous, really, because it's a lovely name.

  I think of Della Reese the singer/actress. I always thought she was pretty cool, though.

  I think it's a very nice, gentle, upbeat name.

  I like it but it seems a little heavy sounding compared to a lot of other names today. I like Delia better. Celia even better. I also like Ella and Elsa.

  I know a Della.  It can also be a NN for Adele. 

  My SIL is Denna, that's kind of in the same family as Della.
