Sorry, I know nothing about Abington personally, but my YMCA has a waiting list of over 2 years and has consistently been given rave reviews by lcoals. Ive also heard great things about Upper Main Line YMCA. However, others have posted on here that their local YMCA is not competitive at all and they wouldnt be comfortable sending their children there. So, unfortunately it really seems like a case by case basis and youd have to visit your particular YMCA to get a solid idea. I have a friend in Abington who was considering the daycares at both Abington and Holy Redeemer hospitals if that helps too?

DD has been at the Abington YMCA since 3 months. I like it and she seems to as well. It is a clean facility with a good location and fair price. We are full privelage members and take advantage of the swim classes for the infants too-all great. There are a couple of caretakers there that I especially love for the infant stage.
