what foods do you NOT like?

I do not like a LOT of foods.

meatloaf, red meat, pig (in ANY form, including bacon Stick out tongue), eggs (I do like them cooked cetain ways though...deviled for one!), onions, cheese (I will eat it on/in things though, like pizza), squash, eggplant, sausage, green beans

oh I could go on...a list of what I DO like would probably be shorter lol!  and i like things that a lot of people wouldn't, like asparagus, brussel sprouts

all of this except I do like meatloaf!

  • Peas, lima beans, yogurt, cottage cheese
  • The first five that come to mind are white chocolate, cauliflower, celery, lunchmeat except for prosciutto, and other people's meatballs.

I'm SURE there are more, but I have to go to the world's stupidest class on how to teach now so I can't sit and think about them.

  • Oooh, yeah. I'm with you, Glad. I totally hate white chocolate. Barf.

    Ketchup. Double barf.

Most things that are packaged and processed pretty much gross me out.

But, I'm not picky as far as "real" foods go. I'll try anything. Not a huge meat eater, though.

  • peas & carrots  YUCK!

  • Hate fish, although I do like shrimp/lobster/etc.  Don't like meatloaf, roasts, pulled pork/beef, white potatoes (there ok when they're done in a au grautin of some sort, but really, then they're just a vehicle for the cream and the cheeses), cooked carrots (although I've gotten better), green peppers (HATE), and anything with a fake banana flavor (ish...).  Not a huge fan of white chocolate myself, although my sister thinks it's delish...

  • I like most things.  I don't like a lot of fish.  I wish I could.  I like some fish, but not the really "fishy" tasting kind.  And no tuna.  :(

I loathe green bean cassarole.  Ick!  DH loves it.

    White chocolate.

you shouldn't have to hide - this is totally acceptable imo as white chocolate isn't even chocolate :)

I know, right?!  It's like....solidified chocolate grease.  Rather like the dregs of the bacon-making process, but chocolate.

    ::shudders::

  • Cheese is the big one.  (I'll eat it on tacos and pizza though... I'll even eat cheese DIP, but I won't eat hashbrown casserole or a cheeseburger- ick)  I do, however, CRAVE sliced cheddar on saltines when I'm sick...odd, eh?

creamy dressings/sauces (like alfredo, ranch, etc.)

green peas.  I like most veggies, but english peas/green peas are yucky.

oysters.  I LOVE seafood- this is the one thing I just can't eat... I think its the texture... too squishy.

Diet sodas or other products made with splenda or aspartame.  I had a yogurt smoothie thing once and threw it out because it tasted like splenda... when I examined the label- it was sweetened with splenda.  Gross.

HUGE UN-fan of lasagna.  I never loved it.  (Even though it was one meal that my mom was "famous" for in our family, I didn't like hers either.)  When mom made it, I made a PB&J or ate cereal for dinner most of the time.  When my mom died, we literally had to borrow the neighbor's freezer because we received SEVEN lasagnas.  It's all my Dad ate for a week.  I ate it twice and said never again.  For this reason, I tell anyone that is making a meal for another family NOT to make lasagna unless specifically asked to do so.

  • Just want to say that high quality white chocolate does contain cocoa, so it IS chocolate (I have to defend my beloved white chocolate lol)

I hate meat, radishes, alfalfa sprouts.  I tried to like the alfalfa sprouts, but ick.  I'm sure there are more.

  • I hate vegetables.  Almost all of them.  Raw or cooked, it doesn't really matter.  I have to force myself to eat them b/c I know how good they are for you.  The few veggies that I like are broccoli, corn, and peas.  I only like tomatoes if they are cooked and are part of a recipe (like spaghetti sauce).

    Cycle #11: BFP

  • Fish and/or any seafood, pears, cooked oatmeal, beets

  • Oysters and radishes, maybe raw fish stuff.  That's about it.  I LOVE pretty much all food.  I used to hate tomatoes and onions but finally this summer I started enjoying tomatoes.  I feel like such a big girl now.

  • Ketchup, black olives, beets.  I think that's it.

  • Tomatoes, mushrooms, tofu
  • Robustly flavored mushrooms.  If they are kinda weak on flavor I can choke them down if need be...  I bought some "stir fry" veggie mix at Costco that included some very "earthy" mushrooms.  Ruined the entire dish for me!
  • I don't do condiments- no salad dressings, no mayo, no mustard, no special sauce.

No sodas- I hate the carbonation.

Don't like fresh tomatoes but love them in soups and sauces.

Other than that... I can't think of anything. (Oh and I didn't include the list of don't like while pregnant since that will change I'm sure.)

  • canned tuna (can't even abide the smell!)

raw octopus (it's chewy too often)

    overly processed foods

    I'll eat most things...
