My DS is the 5th generation with his name...we wanted to name him after DH b/c it is very uncommon and I thought it would be neat for DS. BUT I don't want my DS to feel like he would have to name his son (if he has one) with the same name I don't care if he does that or not.

Christian is my DH's middle name, and Michael is my Dad's middle name.

If we have a girl in the future, her name will be Elisabeth Lynn (my middle name and my MIL's middle name)...if we have another boy I have NO CLUE what we'll name him!!! UH OH! Tongue Tied

We both liked the first name and hadn't agreed on a boy's name before this one. Flint is his middle name and that is my Great Granddad's (he's 105) last name and the last Flint of the family.

Neriah is from the Bible and means 'lamp/light of God' in Hebrew. Margaret is after my mom's twin who died a couple days after birth.

Although we like the show 24, DS' name [Bauer] actually came from a brand of Canadian hockey equipement. DH and I are huge hockey fans and just like the sound of it. His middle name is William which is FIL's first name and the English version of my paternal grandfather's name [Wilhelm].

Kellan was a name DH picked it means Little Companion. Halsten is a swedish name meaning Strong Rock. We want all our children to have Swedish names since we both have it in our blood. Dh more then me, his Mother is from Sweden.

Thanks, I was scared! In all actuallity Sylar is a serial killer who cuts off heads and eats their brains!! (but i like the name) I typically tell people its mine and DH's name in one!

DD's first name came from the '70s soap opera Ryan's Hope. I let DH pick her mn.

DH picked DS's first name out of thin air 2 weeks before he was born (we changed our minds on our first choice). His mn is after my father who passed in '02.

I chose other, but really it's two of the options. His first name, Ronan, is from a TV show (Stargate Atlantis) and his middle name, Leonard, was my dad's middle name. It also follows the initials that DH and his dad and his dad, etc follow (RLR).

We named her after Hannah in the Bible. She had great trust in God and strong faith, and we hope our DD does too. Her middle name is Christine and that's partly after DH's brother and also because it sounds good with Hannah
