Well she registered at Baby Depot. I haven't been there maybe they don't carry diapers? I guess she just figures everyone knows she wants/needs diapers?

Did you register for diapers? I read that you go through 15 diapers a day so I registered for tons of diapers.

I only put a pack on my registry...and that's only because I wanted to start my registry online before I went and finished it up at the store.

I've been stockpiling diapers whenever I get coupons and they go on sale. I figure people will probably buy them for the showers too...

I didn't register for any. A couple people gave them to us anyway.

I figured that we were going to buy diapers regardless, but some stuff, we wouldn't end up getting for ourselves. Like the crib mobile - we wouldn't have bought that for ourselves but someone got it for us as a gift!

I did not, for two reasons. 1) because people are going to buy diapers because they know you'll need them and 2) because I want to try cloth

You could ask your cousin if there is a brand she would like or if she's going to try cloth.

I only put one pack because I heard you have to see if your lo likes the brand you chose & plus they grow really fast...

We're using cloth diapers so I registered for some diaper covers and throw-away liners, but that's it since the store I registered at didn't carry the diapers I wanted.

I only registered for them because most of my other items have been purchased from my registry from my previous showers and I had no idea on what else to add...lots of people give diapers anyway since they're such a necessity. It's up to you whether you put them on the registry or not...

Nope but we are CD'ng and using a diaper service. I ended up getting a great emergency stash even though we weren't registered for them.

With DS we didn't register for diapers either. We figured that people knew we would need them so if they wanted to buy them they could buy whatever. Especially since we had no idea which diapers we would end up liking. We didn't want to end up with a ton of diapers that we hated.

Which, for us, Huggies sucked donkey balls. Smile They leaked like crazy when DS was small. Luckily we only got one package of them and used them up quickly. Pampers were so much better. At least until DS was in the larger sizes, then the Pampers were leaking.

Anyway, diapers are a try-before-stocking-up-on item IMO.

My mom went a little overboard and I ended up having over 4000 diapers by the time I was 6 months pregnant, because every time she had a coupon she bought some. Maybe she already has diapers or is waiting to find out what works best for her when baby is born.

We didn't register for any diapers. I have picked up packages of different kinds throughout the pregnancy. I didn't want to stock up on a certain brand only to find out that they didn't work for the baby.

Nah, diapers are things people no you need and will just throw in with gifts anyway. Unless there is a certain brand you prefer, then I would just put one pack on there so people know, but I'm sure you will still get other brands.

I did not register for diapers because I didn't want to end up with a ton of diapers that may not work well for the baby. I have one package each of a few different brands, to see which works the best.

Your SO's cousin may have not registered for diapers on purpose. She may not want people to buy them.

I put on a pack of diapers and wipes. People usually get them anyways. I only put them on there so they know the brand we prefer.

Didn't register for diapers. We did have a "diaper raffle" though so if you brought a pack of diapers, we put your name in the raffle and you could win a prize. That got us a lot of diapers.

I'm didn't register for any. I figured people would know we need them. I am not dead set on a certain disposable either. If people give different brands we get to see what works best. We are going the cloth and disposable route.
