prenatal massage

Can anyone recommend a good prenatal massage therapist, south of the river (Burnsville, Apple Valley, Lakeville, Prior Lake?)

Re: prenatal massage

  • see if there is a massage envy located anywhere in those areas.  a friend works at a massage envy as a manager in colorado and they are nation wide.  i am going to their stillwater site in 2 weeks!!!  i can't wait.

    just type in massage envy!

  • I go to Massage Envy in Woodbury and really like my therapist.  Just make sure that wherever you go you ask for someone who is certified in prenatal massages.  They are different techniques they use.  I went several times throughout my pregnancy and it really helped my back (along with chiropractics).

  • when i made my appointment today i specifically said i would need prenatal and the receptionist checked to make sure someone was available that day.  their prenatal sound really awesome so i'm excited.  i had one when pg with my daughter at a different spa and it was awesome!!!!!!   i also recommend sometime after birth-i did hot rocks then and had a knot/lump in a milk duct and the hot stones released that sucker.   it was a weird yet wonderful feeling.
