Going in for acupuncture today....

Hopefully this will speed things up!  At my Dr. Appt yesterday they found protein in my stick test (urine) and my blood pressure was high... lovely!  Had to get a blood test taken and am trying to remember to start my 24 hour urine thingy.  If they find more protein they are probably going to induce me.  Yuck.  Totally ruins my "drug-free" birth! :( 

Has anyone else had acupuncture to get things going?

    I haven't heard of acupuncture moving things along, but I was told by my massage therapist that there are pressure points in your ankle that can cause uterine contractions and that pedicures are a good way to get things going as long as you make sure the person doing the pedicure pokes that the right spot in your ankle.  Maybe you can ask the person doing acupuncture to poke around in your ankle too? :)

    She did put a needle in the ankle spot.  She also said to put pressure on that spot when ever I think of it. Now I am thinking.. hmm.. duct tape and a marble?  LOL  Maybe that will keep pressure on it until it finally happens lol!

    Hah, that's hilarious.. I'd probably sit there holding on to both my ankles until the baby popped out ;)

    Maybe sit on the yoga ball with one foot up on your other knee pushing on that spot and rotating feet every 30 mintues? :D

    No progress yet!  Man.. I hate playing the waiting game and I hate surprises!  This has to be the toughest surprise ever!!  Oh, the second.  The first was finding out the sex! LMAO
