Girls with the Angel Care Monitor

I think a couple of you have this and I have a question. We unpackaged it over the weekend and it said if your mattress is spring an/or if the crib frame has springs on it, you need to order a board of some type from Graco to place the board/monitor thingy on. Did you do this or did you use a make shift piece of plywood? TIA

Plywood, but we never use the sensor, so I don't know how well it works.

This was just asked in the multiples group I belong to and here is the response.

I had these for my twins and had the same problem at first. We read somewhere to put a thin piece of plywood on top of the springs but under the mattress and put the movement monitor on top of the wood. This seemed to do the trick for us.

Our crib bottom doesn't have springs, just plywood. I would make my own vs. buying something. We have to rig it a little bit when we use the monitor/sensor with the pack-n-play
