We are Team Green and hope to go into L&D with a boy name and a girl name picked out. We have narrowed it down to a few and I would love to hear some opinions. Last name pronounced Ross-ee.
Boy:
Landon Paul, Lucas Paul or Connor Paul (Paul is after my grandfather)
Girl:
Paige Makena, Makena Paige, or Paige Marie (just names we like)
TIA!
Re: Team Green - can't decide!
Okay... imho:
Landon - first choice
Lucas - too many "s" sounds with Rossi... maybe Luca? (More Italian)
Connor - not a fan of the "r" "r", blends into one name and it's a little Irish for an Italian last name
I like all the girl names just fine! My favorite is Paige. (Either middle name.)
Thanks for your opinon! I had never really considered the "s" sounds before and that makes sense. I think we are both leaning towards Landon these days - I just can't decide which girl name I like the most!
Connor Paul. I really don't like the name Landon (just personal preference) and I agree that there's too much "s" with Lucas and your last name.
Paige Marie. I also really hate the name "Makena" and that spelling is like fingernails on a blackboard to me.
I have always liked the name Lucas. It has such a stong connotation and also it's bibical without being stuffy. Plus, it can be pronounced in other languages which seems to be becoming more and more important these days.
As for girls, I'd probably choose Paige Marie. Paige is simple but not overused.
Landon and Paige!
Just FYI- 3 girlfriends of mine gave birth this summer to girls. All 3 named their daughters some variation of Makena.... so I guess I'm a little tired of it, if that makes sense
