eye contact?

How much eye contact does a 7 weeker do?   Natalie is always checking out our faces and any type of contrasting objects (she particularly likes our curtain rod), but she doesn't seem to do a lot of eye contact, she does but not much.  Normal?  Weird? Stop thinking about it?

    Thanks!  DH was freaking me out last night - I hadn't noticed until he pointed it out and was thinking it wasn't normal.......  He never notices anything, so that alone worried me:)

    I have read that when they do start to make more eye contact (maybe around 8 weeks???)  that it means they are more confident.  Not that that means anything... I just found it to be interesting.

    Don't worry they are still amazed at the world right now. When LO gets older you will have more eye contact.

    That's really interesting!   DD#1 stared at us all the time and was always staring people down (mega eye-contact).   Now she's VERY confident, to the point of annoyance for me:)

    DD just started making more eye contact the last couple of weeks (she's 10w), so it sounds normal - stop thinking about it! :)
