Did anyone deliver at Lancaster Women and Babies? If so, did you pack everything they told you to pack? Did you prefer nightgown or pjs postpartum? Any other advice?
I delivered there. I don't remember what they told me to pack...are you referring to a list? I scarcely remember what I wore post partum, but I'm pretty sure I was feeling most comfortable with pants on for visitors and a nursing tank. However, I was so sore from BFing that I went shirtless as much as I could! Next time I think maybe a robe would be nice.
Everything they said to pack and more - though i didn't need it! The only clothing I wore was my going home outfit and nursing bras/nursing tanks. I stayed in the gowns the whole time. Other than that, the only necessities for me were my pillows, toiletries, and camera.
Thanks Ladies. I feel like I have a lot packed but I guess it doesn't hurt to be overly ready But I also have DH's clothes, LOs clothes, and My clothes all in one suitcase...so it looks big..but it's not all for me
I had Lydia at W&B and I don't htink I needed alot of the stuff I packed. I work jammie pant and a nursing tanks the whole time. The only outfits Lydi wore were the one to get her picture taken in and her going home outfit. I love it there. I Live in York but I chose to go to a Lancaster obgyn just so i could have my babies at W&B. Also my husband does all the christmas decoration inside and out there so i am kinda partial to it because they pay our mortgage!
Re: Lancaster Women and Babies
I went in with a HUGE 4 ft. adidas duffel bag and 2 pillows.
I didn't put other clothes on Cole either - the only one who used the bag was DH!
Hahaha. Yeah! I have a large black rolling suitcase
But I also have a smaller duffle bag for L&D that I'll exchange out after we get moved.
I feel bad for DH...I've seen those chairs. And DH is 6'3" 260lbs. Poor guy..haha
Hope you get one of the new rooms! The beds for your partner are a lot better
Ugh, those stupid bed chairs!
Chris slept on his stomach on it and woke up with his back killing him. Considering I was in labor, I was NOT in the mood to hear it!
