"worst" advice you got while pregnant.  You know, the advice you scoffed at before you knew any better.

    "You're whole life is about to change!" It was aggravating to hear and of course I knew my life was going to change, but I had no idea of just how intensely different it was going to be.

    It's almost like I'm living a different life than I was over 2 months ago.

    I actually got a whole lot of "worst" worst advice.....seems like people in my family and Dh's family (who all have had multiple kids/pregnancy) know absolutely NOTHING about pregnancy!  I was shocked at how often they'd argue with me about something I had read (in multiple books) or something my doctor had said.

    I don't know that I got one piece of good advice - even if it was something I would have scoffed at at first.

    I honestly can't think of anything. I got a lot of great advice, but nothing that I scoffed at.

    This.  I have nieces and nephews who I helped raise for years, so I thought I had a pretty good idea how it was going to be.  Physically, yes...emotionally, hell no.

    "Don't worry, he can't be perfect for long"  Yeah...4 month wakeful came early.  I now apparently have a "normal" child.

    Not so much advice but I really didn't believe people when they said BF can be really hard.

    When everyone said "get your sleep now, while you're pregnant..." 

    Of course it was difficult to sleep in the third trimester, but I would've tried harder if I knew!
