  crystals or clear gel like the diaper bust?

  I had this happen to me with a pack of Pampers Swaddlers.

  ds has had urate crystals in his diaper, but they are brick red.

  I believe that is a sign of dehydration. I would call your pedi after hours number and talk to an on call provider.

   Edit to add: unless they are just the diaper gel stuff that swells when wet!

  I've had this happen to me with the clear gel things .. THEY WERE SO ANNOYING TO GET OFF OF DS'S BUTT!

  It's from the diaper, no worries. I thought my DD was passing crystals or something the first time I saw them. But they're the absorbent stuff in the diapers.
