How quickly have you been dilating?

I had my 36 week appt today and despite tons of contrax for the past two months I'm still not dialated at all. He did say he can feel the head though and I am still measuring big.

How quickly have you been dilating? Any differences from week to week?

I have had really painful contractions all week and no progress, still a fingertip dilated for the last 2 or 3 weeks.

I was 1.5cm last week with minor effacement, pretty much the same deal this week but I've laid off walking/exercising as much with the heat and swelling. I've been having contractions on and off but they are much stronger and longer when I'm on my feet or working out, so that's the plan.

I have been having cramps/BH all week and went from nothing last week to 50% effaced and a fingertip dilated today.

34 wks - 1 cm 70% (in hospital, that is why checked so early)

35 wks - 1 cm 70%

36 wks - 1 cm 70%

37 wks - 1.5 cm 80%

38 wks - 3 cm 80%

39 wks - 3 cm 80%

and I go in again tomorrow..

I'm only 29 weeks and am already at almost 1cm, but I always dialate early, I was 2cm and 70% effaced from 32 weeks to 37 1/2 when I had my DD, with my 2nd I was 3cm and 80% effaced from 33 weeks to 42 weeks when I had my DD. So I'm at 1cm now at 29 weeks.
