and he was completely ecstatic. we are both a little bummed that he'll still miss quite a bit, but after comparing my EDD to his orders we realized if he doesnt use any leave before may he might actually be able to make it for the birth and a week or two after he's been super sweet and asking me about names and things already.

i feel about a hundred times better about everything now. i've just really got to get to work on the new house before morning sickness sets in (hoping i don't jinx myself there!)

That is SOOO awesome! Congrats! I hadn't thought about it this way until the other day......my friend has a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old and her husband has been deployed almost a year. He's coming home in 2 more months. She said while things haven't been easy, she's glad it's happening now and not when the kids are older and really realize the danger he's in and have behavioral problems b/c he's gone. I never thought about it that way.....

Yay! What a good DH to reassure you that it is okay. Just don't push yourself too hard working, that may make you feel worse. Hopefully you can still manage to get everything done sometime in the next 35 weeks or so! Congrats again!
