Best friend has her big ultrasound tomorrow!

I'm so excited to find out what my best friend is having!  I hope it is a boy so that her son and mine can be close in age and grow up together like she and I did (best friends since we were 3), but at the same time, I agree with her mom --- my friend's husband is SO into sports that he will REALLY press that on a son instead of letting him choose for himself, so if it was a girl, he'd have to learn to back off a bit. 

I'm going shopping on Thursday to get the little boy/girl something special!

    Oh thats so exciting! My best friends since Jr High were pregnant at the same time as me. One had a DD born 4/1, my DD was born 6/19 and our other friend had a DD on 7/9. I can't wait to watch them all grow up together! We already do lunch and shopping trips with all the babies.

    That's exciting!  I wish my best friend was into kids...she's not really a kid person...doubt she'll ever have any.  Even if she did...she lives in Orlando, FL now...I'm in STL....so our kids wouldn't see each other very often. Sad

    My friend is in KY and I'm in WI, but we're probably moving to TN mid-next year, so we'll be closer soon!  It sucks being away from good friends, doesn't it?
