i just had to google "KINDLE"

i didnt know wtf that was -- i mean, now that i've seen the pic i know what it is..

do you really think you could 'read' off of that thing? idk maybe im old fashioned but i would need a real life BOOK. everything is so tech-y now it makes me sick.. scary to think what L will have when shes my age.

  • me too! I am out of the loop and a little challenged in the reading department :) lol just now a book worm

  • Loading the player...
  • I think there is something so relaxing about sitting down with a good old fashioned book, cup of coffee and reading. I guess a "Kindle" would do in a pinch but definitely not replacing my books! Stick out tongue
  • My mom wants one of these.  I had no clue what it was and I am sure she didn't either until her boss got one for his birthday.  She will probably get it for christmas.
  • I like my books. I really  hope they don't become obsolete in my lifetime.

  • I don't have the kindle, but I have the sony reader. I love it! It's very easy to read off of. I can also have hundreds of books on it without taking up any space in my house. I'm also going to throw in the green factor. No trees are cut down to make the books :-)

  • DH absolutely loves his.  MIL loves it too.  I'm not sold on it though.  I like my books!
  • I've been iusing amazon's kindle for the iphone annd love it.  Agree its easy to read off of and I always have it with me...
  • Books are too heavy to carry around... the Kindle is small and light weight.  Also, like PP said, it replaces the need for 100's of books laying around the house.  I want one sooooo badly!
