did LO drop or is it too early?

so yesterday as i was painting our diningroom, i ran down the steps ina hurry and slipped and fell. .mind you, it wasnt a horrendous fall, but i definately slid down 3 or 4 stairs with a THUD. after that, it felt like LO was all of a sudden sitting WAY low, and it felt like she was putting a lot of pressure on my lower abdomen. i didnt think much of it at the time. last night when i was lying in bed, i noticed that the bulk of her movement and body was still siginifacantly lower than it has been, and i was feeling little feet or hands near my ribs. here's my question... is it possible that this was a result of me falling or is there a chance that she decided to flip and head south early o n 28w3ds? what do you think?

  • You might want to be checked out. I was told to get checked for any fall, even if it was not a bad fall.

  • I would call my MD and have it checked out if I fell at 28 weeks and had any significant difference in the way baby felt/acted.
  • Honestly, I have no idea...to me, its sounds early for the baby to have 'dropped'.  Maybe you already did, but Id probably call the Dr. just to let them know you fell and see what they have to say.  Im sure you are fine, and baby is fine, but I know my dr. told me that if I ever fell to at least call them. Im really not trying to be all "chicken little..the sky is falling!!!" on  you here, sorry if it comes off that way.
