I'm not going to try to push my daughters to be anything they are not.
I hope that they will watch my husband and I as they grow, see how happy we are and how well our lifestyle works for us, and then choose the same route because they too want something similar.
But I would never tell them that the way we do things is the only way and that other lifestyles aren't also valid.

See, I can't figure out what's worse, AW raising sons who will inevitably grow up to be men with low enough self esteem to think an obedient wife was a good thing, or a girl who will grow up to be obedient.

AW, you should have a chat with my parents about the difficulties in raising an "obedient" daughter. It certainly didn't work out so well for them, even though I personally think I am an upstanding citizen and human-being.
Honestly, I would have preferred you as a parent.
(Disclaimer: I still love my parents. I think they did the best they could. I just disagree with them on just about every facet of parenting.)
I think it's sad that you always feel the need to come into my posts and belittle me and my husband by saying that he is somehow insecure, has no self esteem, or that I am crazy and a doormat.
Just as you pray that your children don't grow up to become people like me, I pray that mine don't grow up to become as rude as you.

You can roll your eyes as much as you want. My brother and I were raised the EXACT same way but he chose to not grow up, and not make something of himself. YES saying a serial killer was extreme but my POINT is at some point they are going to make their own choices and you CAN hope what you gave them will help them make the right choice. NOT always does a well loved, college educated person do the right thing. Just saying.
No snark at all, but I have a feeling that someone with those types of deep psychological issues - it goes far deeper than repressed homosexuality.

What do you expect? You love the reactions you get. You thrive on the conflict and the nonsense that resutls or you wouldn't do it again and again and again, and again.

If you notice, I never gave my opinion in the polls I created, which were a spin-off of someone else's post. I didn't just decide out of thin air to create drama.
And actually, there really wasn't drama until you started calling names - are YOU bored?

I don't forget. I think its part of a deep insecurity that starts up these polls and rants every month or so.

If you are insinuating that I was "making fun" of or "belittling" your son, that is definitely not the case. But way to attempt to make it more dramatic than it is. Chillax.
