When did your doctor start telling you the position of our baby?

I started asking her around 34 weeks. I dont know if she would have brought it up before then. She couldnt tell and wasnt concerned enough at that point to do an ultrasound.

I started asking at 34 weeks. I guess since he was head down they didn't feel like it needed to be mentioned.

I know mine was super early....without me asking i think at my 27 week appt. she mapped the outside of my belly and told me that the baby was already in position.

she checked for the first time at 30 weeks but said it wouldnt mean anything that early. my girl was head down then. she keeps flipping between head down & transverse though & its driving me nuts. i think they usually start checking around 32 wks.

I have monthly u/s due to complications as that's the only reason we know that she's breech. Otherwise, I don't think I would have known. She's been breech everytime and the last two times has had her legs in her face. I don't think she has any plans on moving but who knows. DH and I remind her that if she wanted to be head down by the time I deliver, it would be greatly appreciated!

thanks ladies, i was just woundering, my mom keeps asking me after every doctor's appt. I dont remember my doc even telling me at all with DD and its the same doc. maybe ill ask later on.

I was told for the first time at my last appt (28 weeks). Doc said he was head down, but I am sure he has turned to transverse now. I guess I'll find out next week at my next appt!

I asked at 30 weeks and he said he would not be concerned until the last 3 weeks because baby still has a lot of room to move around.

18 weeks... I get ultrasounds at every visit bc theres two babies... it was just an fyi for the most part but I am told their positions every week

I had an ultrasound at 32 weeks my baby was still breech keeping my fingers crossed he turns. I'm at peace though not worried right now he still has time to turn.

DR told me like 6 weeks ago that baby was head down because he heard her heartrate below my belly button. He hasn't said anything about her position again.

I asked my doc this same question and she said they start checking the baby's position at around 32 weeks.

around 26 weeks. Now they check every appt because the baby has yet to be in the 'right' position. They keep telling me not to worry, plenty of time to turn, but it would be easier to not worry if they stopped talking about it!
