bottles at 13months

My daughter has lots of trouble drinking from a cup, so we are still using bottles at daycare. So much fun. I am tired of washing bottles and the bottles are getting worn out and have started leaking even if they are screwed on really tight (born free bottles, I don't recommend them) One leaked all over her daycare bag and now smells like sour milk along with all of her stuff. I have tommorrow off so it will be spent trying to get her to drink from a cup. Ok, vent over.

    Someone else's Born Free bottle was put in our daycare bag upside down with what appeared to be breast milk in it...  yay.  Sorry- that doesn't help your problem, but I also hate Born Free bottles.

    have you tried a different cup? DD did awesome with the Avent trainer cups and not so well with any other cup

    I can't remember the name exactly, but we started DS on the Nuby(?) cups.  They are soft and I thought they might remind him of the bottle.

    Ditto the nuby.  There is actually a nuby one (I think) that is a 3 step -- nipple, soft spout, straw.  Might be a better way to attempt the transition.  GL!!
