? from TTC'r- anyone not do acu and get a BFP?

Hi!

Tomorrow is my last shot....and I mean my last shot. I am having my FET done at 4:30 and when I did my fresh cycle I did everything I was "supposed" to do including acupuncture.  Needless to say, I was devastated when we got a BFN.  So for my FET I decided to save the money and skip the acupuncture since it's obviously not a proven "sure thing."

I'd love to hear some success stories where acupuncture wasn't used on an FET (or a fresh cycle) and the result was still a BFP.... just for some reassurenace.

EDT: HA!  I'm an idiot.... I meant to post this on SAIF (hence the "? from TTC'r" in the subject line!), but I'll leave it here just in case anyone else can chime in.  Thank you ladies!!!

    I got a BFP with IVF#1 and did not do acu.  I had a m/c but I don't think acu would have changed that.

    Keeping my fingers crossed for your FET!!

    Me.  I skipped acupuncture.  And I drank while my lining was building.  And I didn't take my PIO at the same exact time every night.  I just didn't care with this last FET cycle.  :)

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    I did Acu for my first 2 IVFs, they both didn't work. For my 3rd I did anything I felt I wanted to, I was tired of obsessing and doing everything 'by the books ' to see the same results as years past, stop acu, stopped pineapple, wheatgrass, even had a drink 2 days before transfer... it worked!

    I think there are many more people who DID NOT do accupuncture than those who did.

    I tried accu for 3 months between my 2nd and 3rd IVF and it completely screwed up my body.  I got pregnant in IVF #4 (m/c due to chromosomal issue) and IVF #8 (DE) without the use of accupuncture.

    I never did acupuncture. My last cycle was an FET and I'm currently pregnant with twins.

    I didn't do acupuncture and got pregnant with my 1st IVF. I had a m/c, but that was due to my blood clotting issues.

    There have been studies that showed acupuncture increased pregnancy rates, and studies that have shown it had no effect, or reduced, pregnancy rates. It really has not been proven either way.

    I didn't do acupuncture with either of my IVF cycles and got pg both times.  The first one ended in m/c but like the pp wrote, I'm sure not doing acupuncture didn't effect the outcome.
