S/O Do you still look the same as you did when you got married?

Or could you fit into your wedding dress today?

I look exactly the same only about 10 lbs. heavier....and more tired.  Kids seem to have that affect on you.

  • Pretty much, but I need to drop about 25 lbs to get back to wedding weight.

  • Yeah, i'm pretty much exactly the same...

  • No, not at all. And again, no not at all! I was not quite 110 on my wedding day, and was 5'8". I don't think I could fit one thigh into my dress any more. I wish I had the long hair I had then, though.
  • I've gained a few pounds and my hair is different.  Not completely different, but not the same either.

  • No unfortunately. I have quite a bit of weight to lose.

  • No way! I was stressed from planning a wedding and had lost a ridiculous amount of weight from being on this migraine medication that kills your appetite and makes stuff taste like tin! So I weighed next to nothing on my wedding day.

I weaned off the meds a few months later when we decided to get pregnant and was 20 lbs. heavier by the time I was. Then I gained 40 lbs. while pregnant and have yet to lose half of it, so that's that, lol.

I also chopped my hair off afterward and now am desperate to grow it long again. I hate the shoulder length it's at now and the flip it does, ugh.

  • yes and no. I'm heavier by about 15lb, but more fit, if that's possible. I think I look older -- but I learning to live with it.
  • I'm sure I look a bit older since it's been 7 1/2 years but my hair is the same length and I'm about the same weight..maybe a few pounds lighter and I strength train more now so my arms etc. are probably more toned. But overall I am still pretty much the same.
  • I think I look more mature than when I got married.  I looked soooo young when I got married.  Besides being pregnant...I could still fit into my wedding dress prior to pregnancy :oP
  • I'm about 20lbs heavier so the dress would be a little tight and probably not fit all the way. I think I look different than I did then. My hair is different and I was only 19 when I got married and am almost 25 now so I hope I look older and not like a teen anymore.

  • My body is pretty much the same, I may be more fit now and 3 or 4lbs heavier. But, My hair was long and dark brown. Now, it's blond and a little past shoulder length.

  • NO! I'm 15 pounds heavier (I can't fit into my dress. I can't get it zipped up over my back fat), and I have a lot more grey hair now that I did then.
  • I look better.  I'm about 20 pounds lighter.  My wedding dress would fall off of me.

  • I think I look the same!  I am guessing that yes, I would fit into my dress as well.  I weigh the same.
  • No, I had long blonde hair when I got married and now have med-length auburn hair. I weigh exactly the same (6 years, and 2 kids later!) but my body is different. My rib cage is about 2" wider, so no amount of weight loss could get me into my wedding dress. I'm sure I look a bit older, too.
  • I'm 25lbs heavier & don't keep my hair hightlighted like I used to.

  • I look the same. And I weigh about what I did when I got married although I'm not as fit. I haven't tried my dress on, but I would guess it would fit me.

  • Oh, and I forgot that the boobs that my husband married are most def NOT the boobs that he ended up with 4 years and 2 kids later!  Poor guy!  Even though they're bigger....they're located nowhere near the same coordinates on a map if you know what I mean.

  • No.  Shorter hair, more tired and about 15 lbs heavier.
  • Pretty much.  I too have that always tired look and need to lose about 20 lbs to get back to the same size.  Guess that won't happen now until after this pregnancy!

  • I wish! I am 30 pounds heavier and don't feel nearly as attractive!
  • Yeahhhh, no.  I'm about 10-15lbs heavier and I look older.  We got married just before I turned 23 and the last four years have done a number on the "freshness" of my face (and my boobs...and my ass...)

I was in great shape when we got married and I haven't been to the gym since I got pregnant with Andersen.  I'm going back this week, though!

  • I have shorter hair. but I actually weigh about 5 lbs less then my wedding day.

and I wear glasses now, I did not 5 years ago.

  • Uh no.

  • I am a little heavier now than I was when I got married.  I can still fit into my wedding dress, but it is just a tiny bit tight at the top, but I can still zip it all the way up.
  • Other than the extra 40lbs, eye wrinkles, stretch marks & tummy flap--yes--LOL!

  • I'm actually about 25 lbs. lighter (and I was working my TAIL off to be fit then!). I have already had my dress taken in once... I've worn it three times since our wedding :) It's not a very typical wedding dress, but I have worn it for formal occasions! Might as well get my $$ worth! It would be way too big on me now though.

  • Pretty much!  I haven't tried on my wedding dress since my wedding, but I weigh the same so I assume it would probably still fit.
  • No way! I've gained a ton of weight since having DS. I don't even want to LOOK at my wedding dress right now LOL!
