Need Advice

Awhile back I ordered a newborn B4 for a friend in Germany and it never made it there.  Lisa @ B4 was nice enough to issue a credit for the diaper in the form of a gift card so my friend could get a new diaper.  So, I emailed my friend the code and told her that if the first diaper happened to come in to just return to sender and she was very grateful.

Well, Lisa sent me a message yesterday saying that the original diaper made it back to her but that my friend still hasn't used the coupon.  This is also the same friend who got mad at me when I told her tanning was bad for her (if you didn't read the OP, I was honestly worried about her and she got pretty imature about it).  Anyways, she hasn't been returning my emails or anything and I'm starting to think that maybe she's holding a grudge for some petty reason.  But I have this code to B4 that I don't want to go unused since Lisa was nice enough to issue it.  I have no idea what to do, especially since my friend won't email me back???? Any advice?  Oh, and I know she's been online because she's on myspace ALL.THE.TIME.

    I would tend to say that it was a gift and therefore you shouldn't use it.  Sorta like giving a gift card and then it going to waste with the only difference being that you "know" that this one went to waste.  Sucks, I know. 

    Just add that to the reasons why you might be better off without this friendship since it seems to be a bit one-sided.

    yeah, I've already just about washed my hands of the friendship.  When we all lived in MS we were really close, but when she moved away she got very.... self-involved/conceited (I can't think of a better word bc DH is sitting here rattling off words to confuse me, lol).  Its sad, but oh well.

    I wouldn't use it anyways because B4s don't work for us, I just feel bad because Lisa was nice enough to do this :(

    LOL, I was honestly tempted to post it on here as a giveaway type deal if she hadn't used it in a month or so, but Army is right, it was a gift.

    How long is the gift code good for? I would wait till like a week before that then use it if it was still available. Different places have different rules in GC.

    as far as I know it doesn't expire.  Its just a code to type in on her site that she gave me for the reimbursement of the first diaper I ordered that never made it. 

    We'll see, I figure after a week I'll send her another email and see if she responds than I'll go from there.

    I can't believe she got that mad at me over this tanning stuff.  Its so stupid.

    Ok well I will be the rude one here. If she is not going to use it I would. Money is tight and that was a very generous gift. If she wishes to ignore it then cut your losses and move on. She sounds like a real gem anyways.

    LOL.  Well, if I decide to use it, it will be going to one of ya'll anyways since we don't use B4's, but atleast I know if I decide to do that it will be more appreciated here  :)
