freaking out a little...

I changed into my pj's and got all comfy on the couch, I felt some discharge that was a little wet, but that's normal for me, since I wasn't wearing a panty liner, and I had to pee anyway, I make my way to the bathroom and notice that the discharge that I felt was pink!  I finish peeing and wipe, and pink again.  I know that it can be completely normal, but I am freaking out a bit.  I didn't have sex in the past 2 days or do anything more strenuous today.  The only thing different was that I had a prenatal massage this afternoon.  Do you think the massage could have caused the spotting?  I'm going to watch it for the rest of the night and if it continues or gets worse I will call the doctor in the am.  Does this sound normal?  Has anyone experienced anything like this around 32 weeks?

    If I was spotting this early I wouldn't be waiting overnight to call my doctor.

    I would watch it and call if you are feeling any pain, or if it gets worse. You are probably fine, but if you will lose sleep over it, just call.

    No, I do not think your massage caused it at all.

    a massage wouldn't make you spot, the cervix has tons of tiny blood vessels in it and as you get closer to labor it starts to thin and dialate which can cause spotting, when is your next appt? I would try and get in this week as early as possible, you may be dialating.

    I would call in the morning if it isn't better. 

    My first thought would be bloody show and you don't want that as early as you are,  Take it easy and put your feet up.  Call in the am if it is still going on.

    it's just pink, and I'm not having any cramps or anything, just normal BH's that aren't timable or anything.  I have an appointment on Thursday, so if it continues I will be calling first thing in the morning.  I didn't think the massage could have caused it, it was the only thing different though.  Thanks ladies...it just freaked me out a little.

    this was the first thing I was thinking, and since I am so early the thought scares me.  I'm laying down now, I will probably just try to get some sleep and hope that it goes away.

    It doesnt hurt to call the nurses hotline your doctor gives you and ask for advice. They will tell you what to do.It could be nothing... but it might be something. Better safe than sorry. 

    I had the same thing happen... didnt call and 6 hours later while I was at work I started bleeding bright and alot of it. I ended up having to go to L&D. Turns out my bladder infection had gotten so bad it was bleeding. I spent 3 hours at the hospital and was sent home to light duty for a few days and another round of antibiotics.I was around 30 weeks at the time

    If it's just pink on the toilet paper, not spots on your underwear, I would not freak out. I had this last time and DID freak out... but it was just a UTI (I had no other symptoms at all and felt fine).

    Wear a panty liner and if you get spotting on it, then call or go to the hospital. I'd call in the morning about the pink wiping.

    My OB told me to call in if I had any kind of spotting... it's prolly fine though. I would call just to be on the safe side.
